Soundscapes Chamber Music Workshop will take place at the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts in Old Lyme, CT. It begins Monday, June 24, 2019 and concludes on Friday, June 28, 2019 with a performance for family and friends on the final afternoon of the program. The daily schedule is 9 AM to 4 PM with an hour break in the middle of the day for lunch. Three hours of rehearsal and coaching each day will be balanced with time for other musical workshops, group discussions, explorations in art, and outdoor activities. A snack will be provided, but students should bring their own lunches.
Students will be placed in small groups based on level and compatibility. Music will be sent in advance so that upon arrival, participants are ready to begin working collaboratively with their peers and coaches toward the final performance.
